Things You Need to Know

Servings sizes for cake slices are 1 x 2 x 4 inches.
Optimal room temperature for a buttercream-iced cake is 75 degrees. If your event is outside, fondant may be a better alternative for you.
There are extra charges for any work that requires additional time and workmanship and materials, such as intricate gumpaste/fondant flowers or figures, 2D and 3D cakes, etc.
Cake designs are at the discretion of Brenda Bakes.
Cake prices are subject to change as the cost of fresh ingredients change throughout the year.

Brenda Bakes will not reproduce trademarked/copyrighted materials without the express written permission of the trademark holder. It is a trademark infringement to produce licensed character cakes without the written permission of the trademark holder. It is the client's responsibility to obtain this written permission. These include (but are not limited to) Disney characters, Nickelodeon characters, PBS characters, cartoons, comics, name brands such as Nike and Coach, NFL/NBA/MLB team logos, college logos, video games and consoles, and Hello Kitty.

As an alternative, a cake decorated to match the theme of your party can be designed. Toys or licensed cake kits can be purchased to adorn a child's cake. This gives the special birthday child a keepsake from the birthday party. Examples are the pictures below. Mouse over the pictures for more information.

Barbie was purchased to place on the wings of this cake.

Curious George loves his ball, balloons, and his kite. These were used to adorn this cake.

Race Car cake

This cake was made for a little boy that loves race cars! The toy cars were purchased to place on the racetrack top. He then had 3 new cars to take home and enjoy!
